Meet the Owner:

Greetings!  My name is Jen Webler.  I purchased the Summer House Inn in 2016 and am loving the sense of community it brings to my family!  My grandparents discovered Chautauqua in the 1970s and our family has been convening there every year since.  As a child of Chautauqua, I have made my rounds -- attending the Children's School and Boys' and Girls' Club as well as working at the Children's School, Registrar's Office, and the Athenaeum.  The opportunity to purchase and run the Summer House Inn was one that I could not pass up as I feel that it is the perfect culmination of my experiences.  My family hails from Pittsburgh but has a house on the grounds that we keep full of family.  Most notably, you’ll probably notice my parents or my three young children during the week or my husband on the weekends.  We look forward to maintaining the simplicity of the Summer House Inn while sprucing and updating certain aspects.
